Today, after a truly delightful week in Korea, I got on a plane back to Hong Kong to spend the remaining two months of my first semester. I hope to be back soon.
Today, my family held a three-week early birthday party for me since I would be in Hong Kong for my birthday. The chocolate cake bought from one of my favorite bakeries was really good.
Today, I got my regular haircut from a place called ‘Blue Club.’ It only cost about $8 which is much cheaper, compared to getting haircuts in Hong Kong.
Today, I bought some instant food for my trip back to Hong Kong this Sunday. I was bit disappointed because some of the stuff I wanted were all out of stock.
Today, I got my influenza vaccination in a nearby hospital named ‘Riche Clinic,’ which cost me about 40,000 won which would be about 40 USD. I actually did not want to get it in the first place, but my dad insisted me in case I might be infected by the influenza virus in Hong Kong.
Today, I found an application called Google Photo where I can put an unlimited number of photos for free. The features such as the collage or the panorama effects are pretty awesome except for the fact that the original quality of the photo may not be retained.
Today, I walked to Naver (Korean version of Google) head office building, where a small library is located for anyone to use, to work on my assignments. I felt a sense of self-achievement because I almost finished writing my reflective journal for my Music and the Human Body course.
Today, I had some time to play with my (not so) little brown poodle Hoya at home. He is so cute that I want to cuddle him everytime I see him. (I really wish I could take him back to Hong Kong.)
Today, I finally arrived in Korea after 3 hour flight from Hong Kong. It feels so nice to be back and I am looking forward to my remaining week here.
Today, I finished packing my stuff for my one week visit to Korea tomorrow. I am so excited to see my family again and to be back at my home.
